How we started

In 2008 I was 20 years old and living in Riverside, California, bored out of my mind waiting for my green card to come through, when I built my first drone. I modified a Nintendo Wii controller and programmed it with my own code, which I wrote to automatically stabilize a drone in the air. I turned that into a business, and when I look around me today, I see that I’m still living in Southern California, but now I’m the CTO of North America’s largest personal drone maker.

“A drone is often preferred for missions that are too "dull, dirty, or dangerous" for manned aircraft.”

ABOUT drones factory

“If paparazzi armed with telephoto lenses have long been the scourge of the rich and famous; civilian drones are fast becoming the new menace to the ordinary man on the street.”

“It’s a serious issue to fly a drone. Once you get airborne, you are in the realm of the aviation authorities who have strict rules in place.”
